One ray of sunshine and all the buds on the crabapples will explode. That will be an awesome moment. At the same time the row of pleached apples should put on their show. Just one drop of sun, that’s all we need.
And the last bed of tulips, this time, all peach and pink tones, is at it’s prime for picking. With the hoop house tulips starting the season, we’ve had about six weeks worth of these bright beauties.
I’m already getting the catalogs for next years bulbs (clever marketers: get them while they are enjoying the blooms and lusting for more for next year). Consequently, even though I am up to my eyebrows in spring tasks (and rain), I am imagining next year’s tulips.
