Saturday, May 28 was our first Saturday morning market at the Hedgerow barn. In spite of the cool (we had a fire going), grey and damp weather, it was a wonderful morning.
Green Bean catering had delicious food.
I had a piece of this strada for breakfast. Wow.
We had eggs, lettuce and arugula on hand and practically sold out of everything.
Also in the morning a number of local gardeners came to put together patio pots, selecting plants from the nursery. We are selling these pots for $100, of which $50 from each sale will go to the campership fund at Blueberry Cove Camp in Tenants Harbor. Thus far we have sold five pots.
I’m not sure what Toni Small is laughing about, but it’s a good laugh. Makes me smile.
