A very happy morning glory vine winds through a trellis that Anne made last year.
Newly planted
We just completed a project to turn a parking lot into a "natural garden." We planted several islands of tall grasses and perennials that will be interesting in bloom as well as with their seed heads mixing in with the grasses.
New raised beds at Hedgerow
The Hedgerow crew has been working to construct a new garden area behind the barn. The raised beds are for increased vegetable production -- as well as a few flowers most likely.
Hedgerow hooked rug
Anne dyed the wool for this rug and hooked it, basing the design on the Hedgerow logo.
Detail of Full Moon rug
Anne dyed the wool for this runner, which was inspired by a full moon over Mosquito Harbor during the winter of 2007.
November rug
A hooked rug of stone wall and winterberry, completed in 2006.
Cardinal rug
A hooked rug that Anne completed in 2006.
Bright bed by vegetable garden
The bright bed lining the stone wall that surrounds the raised bed vegetable garden peaked at the beginning of August this year.
View by barn
The Hedgerow gardens were neglected for a while this spring and summer as we worked on other projects. We had a chance to turn work on the gardens last week in preparation for opening the gallery in the barn the first two weeks of August.
A small planting
This small planting is to continue the naturalizing theme for a property on the St. George river.
